Bereavement - Grief - Death

Pray and ask for God's peace to fill your heart. Ask God as your praying to ease your pain
and sorrow from the loss of your loved one.

Let us have hope for our loved one that sometime during their life they received Christ,
even until their death and as a beliver we know that the scriptures tell us they have gone to
 be with the Lord.

Death of a loved one shows us how short life really is. Let us during this time take a closer
look at our own lives and let God's love and grace fill our hearts so that we can grow closer
 and nearer to him.

Matthew 5:4
Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted.

 John 14:1-3
014:001 Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.

014:002 In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I
go to prepare a place for you.

014:003 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto
myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.

 John 11:25
Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he
were dead, yet shall he live:

 1 Peter 1:3-5
001:003 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his
abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ
 from the dead,

001:004 To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in
 heaven for you,

001:005 Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed
 in the last time.

 1 Thessalonians 4:13
But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye
sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.

Death

Death - may be simply defined as the termination of life. But its not the end. God's Word
tells us that after death there is everlasting life. God gives each one of us an opportunity to
experieince salvation through Jesus Christ. so that spiritually we can overcome the sting of
Death. It is faith in Christ that overcomes the fear of death.

Psalms 49:15
But God will redeem my soul from the power of the grave: for he shall receive me. Selah.

 Daniel 12:2
And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life,
and some to shame and everlasting contempt.

 John 11:25
Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he
were dead, yet shall he live:

 1 Corinthians 15:54
So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on
immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in
 victory.

 Revelation 21:4
And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither
sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed
 away.

 John 3:36
He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not
see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.

 Matthew 5:4
Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted.

 2 Corinthians
005:001 For we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle were dissolved, we have a
building of God, an house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.

005:004 For we that are in this tabernacle do groan, being burdened: not for that we would
be unclothed, but clothed upon, that mortality might be swallowed up of life.

005:006 Therefore we are always confident, knowing that, whilst we are at home in the body,
we are absent from the Lord:
