Discouragement is an inner emotional feeling. This feeling may come from feeling sad, or
from being discouraged or you may feel depressed because you feel like there is no hope.
Discouragement may come due to personal circumstances and personal problems, or
perhaps it's something that is beyond your control and that it is causing a downward
depression in your life.
To begin to deal with discouragement, we first need to ask God in prayer to forgive us for
our sins. 1 John 1:9, If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and
to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. Psalms, 051:012 Restore unto me the joy of thy
salvation; and uphold me with thy free spirit.
Pray and confess your problems and cares to the Lord. Pray and ask God to give you the
strength to overcome or endure the hardship you're going through.
Let God's Word help give you strength to over come your discouragement. Read and
meditate on God's word.
