Adultery - conjugal infidelity. An adulterer was a man who had illicit intercourse with a
 married or a betrothed woman, and such a woman was an adulteress. Intercourse between
 a married man and an unmarried woman was fornication. Adultery was regarded as a great
 social wrong, as well as a great sin. 

Hebrews 13:4
 Marriage is honourable in all, and the bed undefiled: but whoremongers and adulterers God
 will judge. 

 Exodus 20:14
 Thou shalt not commit adultery. 

 006:026 For by means of a whorish woman a man is brought to a piece of bread: and the
 adultress will hunt for the precious life. 

 006:027 Can a man take fire in his bosom, and his clothes not be burned?

 committed adultery with her already in his heart.

 015:020 These are the things which defile a man: but to eat with unwashen hands defileth not

 is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her.

 008:009 And they which heard it, being convicted by their own conscience, went out one by
 one, beginning at the eldest, even unto the last: and Jesus was left alone, and the woman
 standing in the midst. 

 008:010 When Jesus had lifted up himself, and saw none but the woman, he said unto her,
 Woman, where are those thine accusers? hath no man condemned thee? 

 008:011 She said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said unto her, Neither do I condemn thee: go, and
 sin no more. 

 005:020 And why wilt thou, my son, be ravished with a strange woman, and embrace the
 bosom of a stranger? 

 005:021 For the ways of man are before the eyes of the LORD, and he pondereth all his

 005:022 His own iniquities shall take the wicked himself, and he shall be holden with the
 cords of his sins. 

 005:023 He shall die without instruction; and in the greatness of his folly he shall go astray.

 006:009 Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not
 deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of
 themselves with mankind, 

 006:010 Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit
 the kingdom of God. 

 006:011 And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are
 justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.

 006:018 Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth
 fornication sinneth against his own body.
